  • Our Nursing Program is a member of the National League for Nursing

    Nursing - Associate Degree in Nursing - Level II, AAS
  • Nursing - Practical Nursing – Level I, CC
  • Nursing – RN from LPN/LVN, AAS

    This program is a partnership between colleges participating in the Michigan Community College Virtual Learning Collaborative (MCCVLC). Participating colleges include: Kirtland Community College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Monroe County Community College. The nursing curriculum at Kirtland is based on the ladder concept in nursing education. It offers students alternative educational tracks, according to their career goals. The practical nursing program serves as the foundation for the associate degree in nursing program. A student may elect to exit from the program after successful completion of the first year (Level I) curriculum and be awarded a practical nursing certificate, or complete both the first and second year (Level II) curriculums and be awarded an associate in applied science degree.
