Dual-Enrolled High School Students

COLLEGE CREDIT FOR TAKING KIRTLAND CLASSES WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL!
Welcome
to Kirtland Community College! High School students who are
seeking to dual enroll at Kirtland in order to take college-level course
work must first apply for admissions (if you have not already done so).
You must also complete and submit a Dual Enrollment form.
A Dual Enrollment form must be submitted for each semester and session
you would like to attend. Dual Enrollment forms are available at your
school's counseling office.

Fill out a Dual Enrollment form.
Dual Enrollment forms are available at your school's counseling
office. Your high school counselor or principal (or designate)
and your parent/guardian MUST sign the Dual Enrollment form
prior to submission.
Mail or bring in the completed form and
proof of residency
to:

If you have not done so yet,
apply for admission. You may
apply in person at the Office of Admissions located in the
Administration Building,
download our application form (in PDF
format) and mail it to us, or
apply
online. |

If you have taken the ACT test, have your high school
transcripts sent to Kirtland's Office of Admissions.
If you have NOT taken the ACT test, you
are required to take the COMPASS
Placement Test. |

Mail or bring in the completed Dual Enrollment form (and your
Kirtland Application for Admissions if you have not already
completed the form online or already sent it to us) and
proof of residency

Register for the classes you wish
to take. For your convenience, you can sign up online via
myKirtland. You can also sign up in person at our Records/Registration
Office located in the Administration Building. |
WHEN CAN YOU REGISTER FOR CLASSES?
There are several times during the year in which to register for
classes in upcoming semesters. For each semester we have early
registration several months before the next semester classes begin. We
also have regular registration the week before classes begin. Visit our
Registration Dates page for a list of registration dates.
ADMISSIONS ADVISING
All students interested in being admitted to Kirtland for the first
time are recommended to make an appointment to see the admissions
advisor. During the appointment, the advisor will help guide the student
in completing all the steps necessary for a smooth entry into college.

available for both students and their families. To schedule an
