Our criminal justice department has been a fixture on campus for more
than 20 years. We pride ourselves on maintaining a strong set of
criminal justice programs that have a top reputation throughout the
state. And we have high expectations for our students.
Our foundation is built upon respect for all, from all — students,
faculty, and community members alike. We demand integrity and promote
professionalism and discipline from the moment a student registers. A
mandatory code of conduct, including a dress code, is in effect for all
students enrolled in each Kirtland criminal justice curriculum.
Why do we ask so much of our students? Because it teaches them to
expect a lot from themselves, each other, and the college. Although our
requirements might seem stringent, as a student here you’ll find that we
also support you every step of the way, to help you reach your goals.
