We are Michigan-licensed professional counselors who provide personal,
career, and academic counseling to Kirtland students and staff at no
charge.
We can provide testing for you that describes your interests and
personality type at no charge. But when we administer standardized tests
for college credit, we must charge you an established fee.

Counseling is an "interactional process." This means
that you and a counselor must work together and communicate with one
another, sharing the responsibility for making the process successful.
At Kirtland, the focus of counseling can be academic, career, or
personal, depending on your needs.

The tests available through Kirtland's Counseling
Services Office will give you reliable information that can be useful as
you make your personal, academic, and career decisions. Kirtland's
counselors use a variety of tests designed to draw out information about
your academic abilities, interests, personality type, and self-esteem.
KIRTLAND'S STUDENT
ASSISTANT PROGRAM
The program is designed to provide Kirtland students
with help in dealing with emotional, medical, social, family, alcohol,
and/or drug abuse problems.
