CAREER TECHNOLOGY CENTER - CTC
The Career Technology Center is the main
facility for several of Kirtland's applied-science programs, including
automotive technology, cosmetology, and industrial technologies such as
machine tool operation, manufacturing processes and welding. The center
houses the automotive department, modern automotive labs, the
cosmetology department, cosmetology labs, the manufacturing processes
technology department, manufacturing lab, welding lab, classrooms, and
various offices.
FACILITIES
The Manufacturing Lab features modern
equipment such as C.N.C. mills and lathes. E.D.M./C.M.M. are used across
the programs of study. Kirtland is one of the best-equipped
cosmetology teaching facilities in the
state. Our students get hands-on experience using equipment so new that
many salons haven’t even installed it yet. The Kirtland
Automotive Technology program is unique in
that it is nationally certified by ASE/NATEF in all eight major areas of
training.
 Handicapped
parking is located in the parking lot on the east side of the building.
The entrances are handicapped accessible.
