The Kirtland Library is the focal point
of information resources and technologies at Kirtland, providing
on-campus and online students, faculty, and community members with a
full range of informational services.
FACILITIES
The Kirtland Library houses a growing
collection of learning materials, including over 30,000 reference and
circulating print books, audio books, and e-books; over 250 magazines
and newspapers with an additional 800 or more available online. The
library features an online catalog, computer terminals for accessing
several online periodical indexes, interlibrary loan services,
instructional videos, general-use computers connected to the Internet,
and many other resources.
Besides housing the library and its facilities, the library building
also contains the instructional television (ITV) room, the instructional
technology department, computer labs, the language lab, and various
offices.
The library's friendly and competent staff is ready to assist patrons
with every information task, from locating reference information and on-
and off-site research materials, to general and specialized library
orientations, short courses in library and research methods, term paper
counseling, business research assistance, and many other services.
Handicapped
parking is located in the parking lot on the west side of the building.
The Library's entrance is handicapped accessible.
