ROSCOMMON – The Kirtland Community Theatre group, in cooperation with area community service organizations, will present a trio of dinner theater performances of “The Mousetrap” by Agatha Christie this fall. The KCT’s cast of students and community members from Kirtland Community College’s four-county district, along with director Jomarie Gurnow of Roscommon, will open the trio of shows with a performance Saturday, Oct. 24, in St. Helen. The Mousetrap is about a young couple who have started up a new hotel in the converted Monkswell Manor. They are snowed in together with four guests and an additional traveler, who ran his car into a snowdrift. A detective arrives on skis to inform the group that he believes a murderer is on his way to the hotel, following the death of a woman in London. When one of the guests is killed, they realize that the murderer is already there. The suspicion falls first on an erratic young man who fits the description of the supposed murderer. However, it quickly transpires that the killer could be any one of the guests or even the hosts themselves. Details for the three upcoming dinner theater performances of The Mousetrap include:
