Kirtland’s Roman golfing in regional tournament
ROSCOMMON – Kirtland golfer Kyle Roman, a sophomore from Grayling, is taking part in the NJCAA Region XII tournament being conducted May 9-10 at Bedford Valley in Battle Creek.

Roman qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association regional tournament by shooting rounds of 83, 83 and 86 at the state community college tournament at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville last week.

Top Region XII golfers will go on to compete in the NJCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship May 24-27, being hosted at Goose Pond Colony Golf Course in Scottsboro, Ala. Roman is coached by Kirtland golf coach Ken McClusky.
