Kirtland’s Coach Donahue offers basketball fundamentals

ROSCOMMON – Basketball players in third through 10th grade are invited to
attend the annual Coach Donahue Basketball Camp and brush up on their
skills with Michigan’s winningest college coach. The three-day camp is
set to take place Monday through Wednesday, June 27-29, in Grayling.
Players in seventh through 10th grade will attend camp from 8-10:45 a.m.
at the Grayling High School. Boys and girls in third through sixth grade
will attend camp at the Grayling Middle School, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30
p.m. Cost is $20 for students in third through sixth, and $25 for grades
seventh through 10th.
Glen Donahue is the coach of the Kirtland Community College men’s
basketball team, the Firebirds. He has spent his entire career as a
coach and has won more basketball games than any other college coach in
the state.
In addition to learning new skills and honing those they already
possess, participating students will also receive a camp shirt and the
chance to participate in games and to win prizes.
