Kirtland cross-country runners compete at Northwood
ROSCOMMON – The cross-country teams from Kirtland Community College competed in the Northwood University Cross-County Open meet on Sept. 9. Saginaw Valley State University finished first in both the women’s and men’s events, followed by Northwood University and Oakland Community College.

Both Kirtland teams finished fourth, ahead of Mott Community College. Top finishers for Kirtland’s women were Nadia Blake of Toronto, Tammy Munoz of Houghton Lake, and Julie Frank of Toronto. Top men finishers were Jerry Follot, of Silver Spring, Md., and Sal Kabara, from Central Africa.

The next time Kirtland’s runners are in action will be Friday, Sept. 23, at Ferris State University.
